Outpost once every other day! Yay...

Seems MM have started to follow the providence method of putting outposts in every system possible. If you look at the moon counts Tribute is quickly becoming like providence in that taking the stupid thing would be such a horrendous ordeal on the people setting up or ripping down outposts that I think it would make even the most patient warrior cry salty emo tears.

Anyway, On to the update!

Tribute
In W6VP-Y there is a new Amarr Factory outpost. This is the 6th factory outpost for the region and 8th if you consider the 2 npc conquerable factories already in place.

As always I'll keep an ever vigilant watch out for outposts as we have the industrialization of EVE and 0.0 continue apace!

Thanks, updated. I do wonder if this is how CCP saw 0.0 becoming, incuding the bazillion Titans out there.

Happy Holidays and New year Ombey,

As promised my ever vigilant morning coffee watch has uncovered another outpost!

This time in Sov-4-Heaven..er, I mean Deklein,

In RO0-AF a new Minmatar Refinery Outpost was deployed, this brings Deklein up to 12 outposts with three sov 4 outpost clusters. And into 5th place for the most outposts in a 0.0 region.

P.S. This makes 18 outposts in the next update

/me again bucks for the most updates passed on ever.

Another day and 2 more outposts have gone up, probably people wanting to drop them before the new year.

Anyway, here we go.

Providence
In H9-J8N a new Amarr Factory Outpost has been deployed.

Perrigen Falls
In TAL1-3 a new Caldari Research Outpost has been deployed.

These updates make Providence even further ahead of the other regions in the game for outposts deployed with a whopping 28 at the moment. Delve brings up second place with 20 and Catch in a close third with 19.

As for Perrigen falls, it is the second most developed drone region behind Etherium Reach with 8 outposts to the Reaches 9. The amount of industrialization and expansion continues unabated even with the large wars going on atm.

There are some very under developed regions in the game and some overly developed regions in the game. But many are in that 'mid point' where all the best constellations in a region are at least in possession of a refinery and factories. The slow down of outpost deployment because of jump bridges and Rorquals seems to have passed. With many factions deciding that Sov 4 and the bonuses in fuel and defense that it brings far outweighing the costs of putting up another 1 or 2 posts.

Anyway, got a little wordy there. This brings the total of outposts in the next map to a solid 20 at the moment and I'll continue my over watch. Have a great new year Ombey!

-Ban

P.S. With the deployment of the factory outpost in Providence this makes it the first 0.0 region to have at least one outpost in EVERY constellation in it's region. With 13 constellations and multipule Sov 4's it's quite an accomplishment.

Hi Ban, sorry about the delay, I didn't get an email notification :-\

Yeah, the outposts for the next version are mad, I must pull my finger out and publish it. This week I am sure, need to get it out.

No worries Ombey,

Kinda surprised there aren't any new ones since the last I listed. Hope it's going well, have a good one and I'll keep a sharp eye out for more.

Hey Ombey,

Great update!!!

As per my promise, more outposts!

Tribute
In F-G7BO a new Amarr factory outpost has been deployed.

This brings Tribute to 11 outposts tying branch for 2nd place in the north. The nice thing about Tribute, of the new outposts and the conquerables, this is 9th factory oriented outpost/station. The area has a massive amount of factory lines available for use.

I'll keep my watch out, but it's nice to see that we *might* see the amarr factory outpost eclipse the minmatar refinery as the most deployed outpost type soon.

Hey Ban

Thanks for that, Morsus Mihi keeping the home fires burning I see.

Personally, I'd like to see NPC expansion too to be honest, would keep that feeling alive that the NPCs are more than just background/ something to shoot at at gates/ belts!

Hey again Ombey,

As promised another Outpost!

Branch
In C-4ZOS a new Amarr Factory Outpost was deployed. This ties branch with a few other regions for the top 5 regions in the game with numbers of deployed outposts. It is the second factory outpost in that constellation right next to the conquerable factory, setting the constellation up for a nice sov 4.

As to the NPC's, I'd like to see it too. I doubt we'd see new NPC outposts show up (tho I'd LOVE to see that) in regions like Great Wildlands, Curse, and Outer Ring.

The other thing I'd like to see implemented is a reopening of the EVE gate to another galaxy. No capitals of any size can go through, biggest thing is a industrial sized ship. So not even battleships can make it in. No frieghters, no orcas, nothing 'big'. On the other side could be another galaxy that would spread just like we did here in New Eden. Maybe 4 to 7 regions to start with. And since we can't move capitals through everything has to be built and started over again there.

Small ship combat would rise again and new alliances would rise as even though you could get dyspo and prom over there getting it back through the only pipe with no capitals would be a horrendous ordeal. Would breath new life into this game I think.

But hey, thoughts for the future. With the state of the economy in ice land atm I highly doubt they'd add new servers for this sorta thing.

More outposts as I see em go up!

Thanks for the outpost update :)

I think a new universe would be awesome, especially with the restrictions, but that cuts both ways. The first alliance to landgrab would be able to defend quite easily I think without capitals to dislodge them.

But then again, there are so many variables. The gate would be a bottleneck, perma-camped :) Still, I love it. The T3 ships / wormholes will be interesting I think, love to see how they implement it.

I still think unstable wormholes should be introduced, with a random chance of you getting dumped potentially anywhere in New Eden :)

Hey (yet again) Ombey,

Another day, another outpost :)

Deklein
In GY5-26 a Minmatar Refinery was deployed.

This puts Dek into 4th place behind Catch, Delve and Providence for highest outpost totals.

As to the NPC wormholes, I think it'd be kinda interesting to see people getting thrown all over the map. But long as capitals can't go through and be wisked away I think it'd add a great comedy factor to the game. As well as risk, which this game needs more of recently.

Oh and to the 'no caps new universe' idea. Yeah an alliance could get captials built over there, but there's nothing stopping other people from doing the same. People over here would have to decide where to focus their energies and I really think it would turn into a European Colonization of the new world thing.

The new empires would at first love it, but then wonder why most of their isk, and rare minerals are going to fight a war that doesn't effect them. Then we might have hold outs so it would add a new dynamic to the game and that massive distance between the two (wormhole) and then bunches of systems or even a whole region of 'dead' systems to get to the new 'empire and 0.0' would be prefect. The riskier the better. :)

Hey Ombey,

Been a few days since an outpost was dropped, I actually thought with the war going the way it was we might have seen people put these projects on hold. But I was wrong, people we're waiting for the large southern war to die down.

They were just waiting to drop an ENTIRE sov 4 cluster at once!

Etherium Reach
In DYPL-6 a new Amarr Factory outpost was deployed.

In V-OL61 a new Amarr Factory outpost was deployed.

In RK-Q51 a new Minmatar Refinery outpost was deployed.

Yup, 3 outposts in a single night in the drone regions. This brings Etherium Reach up to 12 outposts, the most of ANY drone region and puts it in 6th place (tied with Branch) for number of outposts in a region.

I'm not entirely shocked, the region is the closest drone region to empire and ED and IRC have held it forever. It just reinforces that point that EVE is going through an Industrial revolution compared to the 'Colonial age' we saw when the first outposts were being deployed.

Hope to see more outposts drop, and I'll keep ya updated as always.

Ooh, thanks, I missed your comment above, sorry about that. 3 outposts in one night huh?

I do wonder if so many outposts is what CCP had in mind. Maybe if the upcoming sov changes make life easier for smaller alliances to assault sov and by extension, outposts, it'll make for more fun.

o/ Ombey,

Well as predicted, providence can't stop putting up outposts.

Providence
In O-Y5JQ a new Amarr Factory Outpost was deployed.

This makes the 29th!!!! outpost in Providence and the 88th factory outpost in game. Eve's rapid Industrialization continues apace even as the largest war in the history of EVE takes place. This puts Providence WAAAAY out in the lead of 1st place with 29 outposts to Delve's 20, followed by Catch's 19 and fourth place being held by long ago built up Feythabolis.

They *might* have seen this eventually, coming down the road to answer your statement above. But on this scale? I doubt it, much of the 'best' space is constantly fought over or held for long periods of time. As such a small percentage of EVE uses that space. So even tho other space isn't as 'desirable' groups are putting up outposts in some of the mediocre space simply because 'some' space is better then 'no' space.

As per usual I'll keep my eye out for more updates!
