well i donno if this is a good idear or not:

But It seems with the victory points, more people are talking about constellations. and that is one thing "2d eve maps by ombey" is missing. That is constellation names for the faction warfare systems.

I hear people talking about focusing caputre efforts on one constellation. Also if people mention the constellation name it is nice to have it in front of you in the pdf.

Thanks

Interesting point. I am always a bit dubious about putting in const. names as they clutter up the map, but if it's genuinely useful I can add it.

Any other opinions on this?

Normally I agree with your clutter sentiment, but in the case of at least the FW map pack, it sort of makes sense.

Ofc I really dont particapate in FW, but I have had it explained to me a few times by those that do.

Constellation names should be in the FW map IMO. Part of FW is capturing the contested systems and once a plex is done it respawns in the same constellation. And not all constellations should be added only those that house systems that can be taken by either side.
I remember someone mentioning adding the amount of jumps from one low-sec entry point to another entry point via High-sec or otherwise. I think that's a good feature to add too.

you are quite welcome. and thank you for all the hard work you do on the maps. and I am happy that my map was of some use (I know its kinda crude but uslay I only use this kind of thing for my corp or personly)

as for const. name.....

yes this wuld be useful info on the map. but it need to be done right and I am not shure how it shuld be done. this is why I just color coded my map but meh... the way it is now you can ezaly see what systems are in the const. even if you dont know the name of it...

Second draft has an incorrect link between Roushzar and Sosan (verified when I was in Sosan). Your Devoid region map shows Roushzar linked to Labapi.

Many thanks for all your work on this!

I'd really would love to have the FW system indicator on the regular maps as well, to see if - when just planning my daily/normal routes - I pass buy FW systems. It would be also interesting for traders to see how far away from normal routes FW system with stations are to see if they with a few jumps can provided modules/ammo/stuff in contested systems for some nice profit.

Yeah, not sure on this one tbqh. For the vast majority of players, FW doesn't even exist, and the extra clutter on the map may not be that great for them. Unless you can think of a subtle way of indicating system is a FW system...

You already used those triangles on the FW maps and I would have only added them as FW indicator, nothing more, and IMHO I dont think that clutters it up that much.

For the fast majority, low sec doesn't exist either, but for those that do venture FW low sec system are different that non FW low sec system. The non FW deeper low sec system still can be pretty quiet while in FW it is highly more likely to engage other players.

Taking a short route as hauler/missioning through/in a FW low sec systems is IMHO more dangerous than 'just low sec'.

Personally, since I tend to print out your maps anyway I usually mark those systems by hand (as I do add other stuff like number and typ of BM/safespots I have in those systems), so for me personally it would unclutter the map a bit of all the stuff I handwrite on them ;) .
