Here's an update for those who are interested.
Many thanks for the feedback, I have now embarked on a revamp of the maps based on feedback from here.
Although it's slow work, I am endeavouring to get it out ASAP, as, if rumours are to be believed, there are new systems/ regions afoot. And I a want to be in a position where I can add them and release a new version immediately.
The new features of the maps will be:
grid reference
out of region shortcuts
clearer constellation markers
untangled and spaced out some maps
clearer out of region jump markers
clearer trade hub system markers
clearer station services markers
much more in-depth key
colour coded 0.0 constellations so they are easier to determine
I thought a softly-softly approach is probably better than big bang... so I have other changes up my sleeve, but the clock is ticking and I'd like to get this finished.
