Feature Request Refinery symbol?

This one has been a big one of mine for a LONG time.

Conquerable stations have their services listed, however one of them seems to be left off, and another listed that doesn't need to be.

The green R stands for Repair, but all stations in game have repair. Yet there is no marker for "Refinery".

I'm not 100% sure since ppl have seen R for so long that they could switch the meaning but maybe it would be worthwhile to make a new symbol maybe a "S" for Smelting. That could be added to denote what stations have refineries and not.

You've got it back to front. All stations have refinery, only some have repair, hence why I mark repair not refinery.

Oh sorry, I wasn't clear all CONQUERABLE 0.0 NPC stations have repair but not refining. Sorry my bad.

The NPC not conquerable station formula is something I'd not mess with.

Other that or mark the conquerable NPC stations with:

Conquerable Factory
QF

Conquerable Refinery
QR

And keep the rest of the symbols the same, their great :)

Hmm...didn't realise that about conq. stations. To be honest, I am not going to mess with what services I have on the conq. stations unless i can find a reliable and up to date reference as to what services they have (out of game).

I am updating the Outpost types as you mention in your other post though

There is another site that shows which of the 3 type of each is listed. 3 conquerable factories and 3 conquerable refineries. Each of them has repair, cloning, that I know for sure (lived in 0.0 almost 80% of my life in game) but factory slots and research slots are sometimes common in those facilities too. So I could link em, and maybe even find you the link that explains exactly what's in each of the 6 station types.

I just know it's very confusing to some that view the maps, I pair yours with serenities to see exactly what is in every region. Then use the Tanx0r maps to find out moon count, current sov of each system and the current name/owner of the station.

Three of the resources I don't think anyone living in 0.0 should really be without if they plan anything other then sitting still.

Thank you for all of these answers and responses, I don't mean to intrude or anything. I just always hope to add a little bit to an already great resource that honestly I don't think I could play this game without.

Actually I was mistaken.

There are 3 conquerable outpost types.

2 conquerable factories and 1 conquerable refinery.

The biggest advantage is that the conquerable refinery is a BASE 50% over the outpost 35% and the conquerable factories have 40 slots over the outposts 20 slots.

I'm still trying to find what each station has for you.

In there is this snipet:

# Conquerable Factory Stations in 0.0 space have been upgraded with cloning, laboratory, repair and insurance services.
# Conquerable Cloning Stations in 0.0 space have been upgraded with factory, laboratory, repair and insurance services
# Conquerable Refinery Stations in 0.0 space have been upgraded with cloning, repair and insurance services


If you notice, the conquerable cloning and conquerable factory stations only have a different picture now, they have the same exact services which is why they are always referred to as "conquerable factory 1 and con factory 2"

The refinery is the only one of it's type and has the services listed.

Thanks- so they all have Clone, Repair, Factory and Lab other than Refinery, which is missing Factory service? Do I have it right?

I believe you have it right, tho I'm not sure if conquerable refineries don't have a pair of factory lines like the outpost refineries do. I can't really confirm in game atm, (@ work).

Even if they do tho, 2 lines isn't really worth mentioning. Their always taken up and overcharged since alliances don't want them used for anything except the most critical jobs.

Need a flag for FULL refineries

What we need is a flag for systems with full .50 refineries. There's nothing more annoying then finding a great big batch of cheap ore and then realizing I've got to hall it two jumps to get a full refine.
