On the maps conquerable stations are clearly different then outposts. The listed services show which station is basically which if you know what to look for.
However Outposts only get a "O" and you have to look in game or look at service to determine which is which.
I'm suggesting a fix that might work, instead of "O" why not "O" followed by the racial type of station that was placed there?
So it'd go as follows.
Amarr Factory
OA
Minmatar Refinery
OM
Gallente Office
OG
Caldari Research
OC
I think this would allow you to show a greater depth of detail without having to put tons of extra symbols on the map. This way people can see the make up of regions and sov 4 constellations.
I hope this is useful since I find I have to go to another service to see which outposts are which compared to just keeping one PDF open
